Restored and running again, after 25 years!
Check out youtube vids search for
"Fury 120Y" two from mid 1980's as driven by George Fury, and latest vid, 2011
WRC world raloy champs at Coffs Harbour.

It s going to the Alpine Rally in Victoria in late November 2011, running at front of the main field

Built by Jamie Drummond at Nissan for George to contest the Alpine rallies, it has fitted a 240rs FJ24 engine, now rebuilt with 230 hp at rear wheels, running twin 55mm Webers ( sorry, no turbos hete!) mated to a Holinger direct drive dog box, and H190 five link rear axle, fully CAMS logbooked.
Depending on final ratio can do 270 kmh, but with a 5.1 diff, top speed at 8500 rpm is 225 kmh.

Not ypur average 120y, and still all old school, complete with all glass, steel panels, and bumpets!
Soeone hete?? Embed the three videos from yputube, thanks!

Hi Attacka, this car was built with pretty basic, but readily available, at the time, components, by the cheif suspension mechanic at Nissan factory at Clayton, Victoria, in 1982.

Front end is a combo of 240Z mk2 Escort, using AP rotors and calipers, rear end is a five link set up with a H190 disc braked rear, using factory competition four piston mk63 Sumitomo calipers and 240rs rotors.

I have a complete disc braked rear end with alloy diff centre, in 4.8 ratio to suit a 120Y it is set for your leaf springs as standard, you might want to run an extra leaf for stiffness, it is ready to bolt in, comes with 2 sets rotors, and calipers. It will handle ypur sr20 conversion. The h190 diffs are very strong!
