Nice dash. I want to get one for my 610/180B. I am thinking about making a mold of the panel,where the gauges are affixed. Got tomake one in reverse,so that the clocks/gauges could be installed on the left side and the small ones ( trio) on the right side. Perhaps with a computer I couldmake a reverse ( negative) mold!

did the early model 610's in america have that type of dash?

Not at all. Early (73) 180Bs had the squared gauges on black background. 74 and later came in blue background, always squared gauges.

Nissan/Datsun would had made a lot more money and would had earned a reputation for great sports car accesory lines had they sold all these items all over the world. Round clusters, US/JDM tail light assemblies, twin S/U set ups, all kinds of accesories that would had allowed customers in any country in the world give their 180Bs ( and any other Datsun) that special touch.

I've never seen a SSS dash for a 610 (or a 510 for that matter) to suit a LHD car. I'm guessing Nissan didn't see a big market for the SSS in countries that drove on the wrong side of the road ? Perhaps the SSS (with twin carbs) wouldn't meet the USA's anti-smog laws ?
