so after i sprayed the engine bay i painted underneath, the inside floor pans and the inside roof with por-15. the rust repairs that i did on the floor and roof still need to be bogged with fibreglass and painted over the top of the fibreglass with por-15. i still have to do more rust repairs in the lower sills and grind down the holes i have welded up in the engine bay so still a long way to go lol

Ok so its been a while since an update but I have done a few things lol. Instead of bog fibreglass to go over welds I used seam sealer. All seams inside the car and underneath were seam sealed with u-pol grey stripe. I also bought a Schultz gun and some cam underbody spray. I have only sprayed were the rear end is installed because I wanted to get it rolling to spray the rest of the underneath outside its messy stuff haha here are some pics :)

I installed the rear end with the help of my mate simon geez r200 diffs are heavy. We installed the rear cross member then tried to install the diff this doesn't work haha you have to install the diff to the rear crossmember first and lift as one unit .

Im running the following.

R200 3.9 open wheeler (for now)
Rear adjustable crossmember (datsport)
Rebuilt rear control arms with R31 disc brakes braided line etc (datsport)
R200 diff mount (made by Mark Axisa best mount I have seen)
King springs
White line bushes

I will just be running uni joints for now also and I need to buy new shocks

How could you not fit the diff to the cross member in position?

hey baz it didn't want to fit with the crossmember in. I think i didn't have the mounting bolts loose enough to get a big enough angle  i not sure as it is the first time to install one.

Cheers,

Richard
