Na mate just the bay ive always wanted a purple car and this is it.

I just have to clean up and paint the cross member, adjustable lower control arms, Gearbox mount bracket and respray the sway bar. Also want to make up a new radiator bottom mount as the one I have is a bit dodgly made up by the mechanic I had put a few things together for me on my old shell. Then things can start going back together!!!!!

Well this week was quite productive getting little fiddly bits and peices together. Made a visit to spectrum rubber and got with alot of help from them all the differnt sized grommets even the oval one where the old fuel line ran into bay. Bonnet bump stops and some new pedal pads. I also got all new screws, washers and bolts.

Steering box has now been mounted along with the Mad Dat steering box brace. Also just gave the area where brake booster mounts a clean up along with the handbrake cable and speedo cable came up a treat and looks the goods. Obviously im a bit OCD but I want it to look the goods!!

Finally have a weekend off work so I plan to mount the radiator ready, get the crossmember back on along with sway bar and get the steering back together. After all the hard work cleaning parts and painting its quite rewarding to finally start seeing parts back on the car.

Hey everyone busy weekend for me!

First off got the N13 radiator all mounted up and ready to go. Luckly I remembered also when it was on the old car it was mounted to high and fouled on the bonnet so I reshaped the bottom brace to be flat all the way across and now it sits perfectly. The left top side is mounted flush to front valance and the right top side I just used a washer spacer to keep it straight and level. Very happy with the results.

Next step was to install the front cross member and adjustable LCAs, steering, sway bar and those radius rod mounts. Looks pretty fancy all cleaned up and painted all together.

Also was playing around with some new clear tubing for the window washers have tried to hide it under the lip but well see how that goes.

I have bought the SWR adj radius rods and this arvo was spend redrilling larger holes in the washers to suit hopefully get them in early this week. Im having some troubles screwing the new tie rods onto the extended tie rod bar so ill need to sort that out and try and source some new nuts for that. Going to get some new camber tops this week to so im hoping by the end of the week the front end will be sitting on shoes and might get a pic of the whole car posted up.

The new & clean clear tubing is subtle but makes a big difference in my opinion, I did the same thing when I cleaned up my bay. Cheap but effective mod!

Totally agree Anth been thinking about it for a while and when I saw that you got it done on yours I couldn't go any other way. Once the struts and wheels are back on I'm going to try hide the washer bottle in the wheel arch out of sight.

Car is now sitting on all fours. All steering is together and close enough till I get a wheel alignment and everything adjusted correctly. Front struts are obviously also in. Had a good weekend with plenty of hours going into the car.

Today I tackled the brake lines so I just bent up some wire to how I wanted them shaped and took them up to the local brake shop to bend the major 90s the rest I shaped by hand. Got the ends flared and nuts put on. Pretty happy with how the front lines turned out they are all done now and hooked up. Tomorow I will pick up a proportioning valve for the rear and hopefully get that in. Cleaned up and painted the rear brake line bracket which I could have easily deleted but it wont get seen at all so ill just leave it as is.

Ive been keeping an eye out in my travels for some small horns that will be easy to hide out of site and still be loud and practical. Finally found a pair and they are sweet plain black and nice and thin. Whilst trying to work out where to mount them the two mounting lugs for the old metal bash plate were starring straight at me! So thats where they go hidden under the radiator.

Glued the rubber trim in where the intercooler piping will go into engine bay and the larger intake hole came up pretty good.

Today I took a trip out to rocket ind. and picked up my Wilwood brake proportioning valve for the rear brake line. While I was there I also got some 'P' brackets to hold to new lines. Got everything to length and flared and finished off the rear brake lines. So happy with how it turned out this part of my build was really doing my head in as I have no experience in this field. Time will tell if it all works sweet. Ive put up plenty of pics so others can see how ive done it as I couldnt find many detailed pics. I had to space the valve off the wheel arch a little bit to clear the front lines so i used some small springs worked out rather well I must say.

Nice work so far mate :D . Just one thing with your bias valve is there much movement with the springs? I would just keep an eye on it as over time with a bit of movement the lines might crack.

Hey everyone quick update through the week I cleaned up and installed my accelerator cable and mount as you can see pretty average condition from the old car.
