I bought them about a month ago Anth. They are Simmons F90. A mate told me he knew a bloke that was selling them and as the wheel whore I am, I ended up buying them. They looked good on the car and I couldn't resist the temptation. Not as big as the FR17 I had previously. These are 16x7.5 which look bigger with the 195 45 R16 tyres.

Nice one, they look great. So what happened to the plan of 5-stud with S14 wheels?

I guess I bit off more than I could chew :giggle: That was the issue. I bought everything needed to do the conversion, even the wheels :woohoo: then realised I will never drive the car if I keep modifying the Datsun. So I bit the bullet and sold all the bits and bought the TRX wheels. I sold the 15x8's to fund the five stud and brake upgrade so I needed a set of wheels to get the Datsun mobile again. I was lucky as the TRX wheels came with Datsun centre caps. Anyway the brake upgrade can wait for now. I want to get out and enjoy driving the Datsun. Hence I have now placed the TRX wheels up for sale as they are now surplus to my needs and I could do with some space in my garage.

Looking good with the wheels Rich. Been thinking lately I wouldn't mind chasing a set of Simmons for my 1600 to match the B45s on the RX2.

Thanks guys, the Simmons suit the old Datsuns nicely.

I can't wait to pick the old girl up at the end of the week from the panel shop. I'll post pics up of the finishing touches.

Finding Simmons these days are hard Marty. Unless you want to pay a premium from Tempe Tyres for FR's. I have also heard that the quality is not that good either.

Thanks guys.............. 8)

I am not 100% sure what the offset is, I checked all four wheels and there is nothing cast into the rims or stamped. Other than the serial number. Which is quite odd

I would guess it to be around the +20 mark though :?:

Purchased a Washer Bottle Kit, new door rubbers and bonnet bump stops from DATSPORTS today.

I am so happy :D to at least be driving the Datto around. Although it will need a tune very soon. That reminds me I need to install me BLITZ EBC before I put it on the dyno :cheers
