So 4 cylinder L series motors came with eigther a Bosch or Hitachi Distributor both being points. I have only seen the Bosch type. Does anyone have a Hitachi one? It seems to of been the common one overseas. If so any chance of photos, particually of the drive shaft and does it use the same drive on the motor as the Bosch ie same timing chain cover and oil pump drive shaft.

Bosch in Australian cars, Hitachi in imported cars, all else is the same
