I'm considering not attending Hanging Rock next year purely so I don't have to see that **** abomination of a Cadillac again.

If you started hitting it with hammers etc I'm sure my attention would have been drawn and I would have rapidly returned to the car to 'greet' you.

haha, I did duck in and out a bit but obviously the times just didn't line up well. I would have liked to chat to you too but I'm sure we'll get more oppurtunities.

that was me wondering where the ozdatters were at BP :D was all good, there were heaps of random dattos about the place anywho. i tried to park next to the green 510 but traffic stopped me :(

i left bp about 8 then headed for hanging rock. i parked up near a blue zed (after scraping on straight roads coming in) then wandered about waiting for more cars to roll in, i did a lap then came back to find heath's 260C parked next to me (which was awesome :D) then found dan and co and wandered about with them till they headed off. i looked around for al and may and co but by the time i swung round to where the rx7 was parked it was gone, and it seemed most people were heading out so i did another lap, jumped in the car and drove through some crowds then headed home. was awesome though, sooo many carsssss. heaps of roadsters out too which was awesome

ive got all my pics on ratsun, guests should be able to seee

I freekin love the Hanging Rock car sho. Always amazes me how man killer cars turn up.
So many that after 20 minutes, you walk past 100k muscle cars and don't even give them a second look.
I only got to chat to Stu with the green FJ beast though (nice to chat mate). No one else was at their car when I saw them.
Am I right thinking there was only 6 x 1600s there?

Which ute Heath? I saw a few abominations there but plenty of nice cars too. I got to the BP a bit after 7:30, filled up and then cruised up with a bunch of muscle cars, overtaking most. Waiting to go in was funny, there were sh*t loads of Chevs, Mustangs, Holdens etc....and me in my RX-7  I missed most of the Datsun guys but it was good catching up with Anth and sik 510. I'll post my pictures tonight.

I have to say though, next year they should make a special area dedicated to Harley Gayvidsons about ten kilometres away, then I won't have to listen to 400 of the shitheaps! I didn't even bother looking in the motorbike section. Plenty of nice cars though, anyone who didn't go this year should consider it for next.

Umm... this is the atrocity that I'm referring to:

Check out those mad exhausts. Something makes me think that they make be fake?

Gary, spotted an emo chick in a photo of a 2+2 Z in that thread hahaha

Yes, there are seatbelts for the third row of seats, I just leave them hidden under the seat when it's on display.

I'm always disappointed by the bikes. There were a lot, as always, and only one bopper. I don't understand why anyone would be into any modified bikes that aren't boppers, but I guess that's just me.

Decided on the weekend that I'm going to drive my coupe to this next year.
Let's say we take it over with 20 - 30 1600s!!

Sorry I was unable to pop in. I was a birthday celebration just down the road, at Gisbourne. Will try to be there next year if the birthday can be rescheduled.

Returning to Melbourne on the Calder Freeway I was following an immaculate black Nissan President V8, when traffic slowed to a crawl at Keilor. The cause was rubber necks looking at a rather sad set of 4 or 5 bent cars beside the highway. At least two 70's model Fords, which I would guess had been to Hanging Rock. Hard to say what caused the pile up, as all cars I saw seemed to bent at the front ends only.

Yeah that's the old mans 1600. Haha yeah it's very very bright!! It will be toned down a bit in the next 12 months(he wants to paint it Mazda pearl white).
