 Post subject: water doors

So today i took my 200b for a drive it had been siting out in the rain i opened the door and its full of water anyone no how to stop it

new wether strips and clean the sh*t out of the door drains :giggle:

Door drains on the bottom of the door clean them out and do it before you get lumpy doors like mine.

Just cleaned them out but 2 of ruber drain things broke do i need them ? And can i stop the water getting in the first place

You stop it by replacing the seals at the bottom of the window. I no longer have the ruber bits for two reasons 1 they broke and 2 it seemed to aid the blockage anyway.

One last thing not really related to this but how can i get the door trims off with out riping them off the pinthings

just a matter of being carefull really.

just in case you dont allready know this is a quick how to

remove arm rest screws
remove window winder (pin thing behind it)
remove plastic lock thing
carefully pop the pinthings
lift of the trim

I should mention that i have central locking and keyless entry a constant source annoyance and reguarly requires the door trims removed.

It is a great novelty to walk up to an old datto and click it opens. Or alternalivty you have friends with you and it doesnt open. The motors for the locks(actuators) didnt fit in the back doors though. Just get a good system and wire it up properly.
