Does anyone know why the pitman arm and idler arm on the other side of the chassis are different lengths on a 1600. To me it looks like it would mean that each side of the car would have different valves for ackerman and bump steer? I would have thought it would be better to keep everything symetrical?

No one knows why this is, or has pondered over it before?

I noticed it when measuring up for the 200B front end to go into my 180B SSS - initially I thought it was something to do with using a 200B idler arm, but it turned out to be the same with a 180B idler arm so I just went with it.

But yes, I was curious about it as well.
