original parts won't likely exist. It's likely the same master as the cedric so it will likely be the same as the very early roadster sp310.

is it the metal bottle? ultra rare now...

something like this will likely work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-Roadster ... 66&vxp=mtr

this is a close up of where the wires connect, these 2 wires are just bare wires, there is only one pipe that connects to this unit, the top is a blank and on the other side its also got a blank

you dont have any luck with finding cars with working brakes do you  bit frustrating that the stop light switch is on the end like that, if it was on the pedal like most cars then you would be able to fit a MC from a diffrent car with less issues.

Have you considered leaving the paint the way it is? there is a market for cars with the orginial patina/faded paintwork. but the key would be to clean up the rest of the car make it look as though you care for the car, so you could clean up the tray with a fresh coat of paint, polish all your chrome, maybe repaint the grill, try and make all the plastic indicators etc look good with a resto kit, clean up the interior etc etc and just leave the bodywork the way it is. What type of suspention does it have?? You might be able to adapt somthing in the way of bushes etc.

had a look on ebay US and yahoo japan for parts for this thing and came up with nothing usefull. I think if its not a part thats shared with another model you are really going to struggle to get it :?

The US never got these... weirdly the next gen 140 junior were manufactured in Iran as well. parts are going to be near impossible to get for stock... recondition everything and you also might have to mount another datto brake switch to the pedal mount if this onedoesn't work. you really need a parts book so we can find you an interchange brake \mC kit.

So the wires run to the brake lights?
The g31 Cedric has line presure operated brake lights.
I found that a micro switch at the brake pedal was more reliable.
Do this mod then you may find more options for replacement MCs.

Try giving Alan Bent an email. He has a serous amount of old datsun reference material (factory manauls etc) and might be able to help with part numbers/interchangeability if you ask nicely
