Im trying to find a panel shop in vic, prefer north west region, that still does acrylic paint. I had and accident a while back in my 1600 and Shannons said they will probably just pay me out because it is illegal now to use acrylic paint? Its not much damage, just a dent in the quarter panel and front spoiler pushed back. One panel shop quoted $700 but they really didn't want to mix the 2pac with acrylic. The problem is if they just pay me out i'm still left with the damage and not enough money to pay for a full respray.

If you are not to fussed 2 pack can be sprayed over acrylic. But you may get shrink back over time. My crash shop will spray 2pack over acrylic for people who want a cheep job. To bad you are not in SA because we could probably spray in acrylic for you to.
