Anyone know of a coilover that will bolt straight into the Stanza rear ?

I have lowered king springs in the back but I want to lower the car more and reduce the 'sloppy bounce" I have also fitted KYB shocks.

I think I need a coil over to get a stiffer rear and drop it another 60mm at least.

Any help would be appreciated!

remove the progressive section of the spring.
Strap the axle with safety belt webbing to keep the spring captive.
Use a std SSS or 5 speed stanza rear stabiliser bar.

This works very well with a firm low front end.

Any other way to lower the rear end? Are there any other springs that will stay captive and low? Even with shorter travel shocks such as vs commodore Ute ones or similar ? Shocks that us. Need to work out springs.

What spring rates are stock stanza springs.

So the id of the spring is 88mm?
any one know of a softer spring that will lower the car and still remain captive at full drop?

The rear end squat may assist weight transfer under load too.

standard rear spring rate on a stanza sedan is 90 pounds.

Lowering the car might look good, but unless you can reposition where the arms mount to the body, your handling will suffer.

My first stanza was extremely low. It had lowered cut springs in it with kyb shocks and nolthane bushes throughout. It handled really well and I never had any problem with springs jumping out ever!!! And it never got treated nicely.

Im not talking 100mm low, just another 20_30mm in rear.

Are there any shorter shocks from another car to help not let the springs drop out.

Found some d21 navara shocks.

Stanza is,
16mm id in bush for bolt
35mm wide
35mm thick

D21 is
12if in bush for bolt
33mm wide
33mm thick

So if I can find similar with 16mm id bolt hole im set

Stanza is about 420mm free height
d21 is 340mm.

So they are HD short stroke might be more suited to high rate springs for bump and rebound.
