Hey guys,
I just finished putting an S15 rear seat into my 1600 and i've got to say it was reasonably easy if you've got access to a welder and grinder. The only mods I had to perform to the seat was to cut the backrest down by about 35mm which made it sit lower in the car otherwise it stuck up over 100mm past the parcel shelf. The most work went into the mounting brackets. The lower section needed somewhere to hook into and the backrest needed some clip in points. You can see in the photo that the middles section of the lower half raises up quite high, this required some filling of firm foam to make it sit nice and firm.
These are all the photos I have at the moment but will upload some more of the finished product when i get a chance.

Sorry to drag up an old post but it be very interested in how you setup the bottom mounts on the backrest part of the seat.

Ive got the s15 mounts whick allow it to swivel forwards but thats a not required feature :D and seem like they could be tricky to use so maybe im overlooking something simple you worked out
