No, but if it is as good as today's technology can offer, I wouldn't hesitate to ditch the original, if you still have it, and upgrade to that. There are many fundamental problems with the factory loom ![]() |

What does it mean when they say "24 circuit" or 20, 14 etc as I've seen a few forsale. Yea I got rid of every wire in my 1600 to many problems and every Tom D!ck and Harry has had a fiddle with it haha |

I'm guessing the loom can handle 24 different functions. Doesn't line up with the number of fuses though. Best send them an email or give them a call. |

They recommend the 12 circuit as I wouldnt need extras like cruise, air con, power windows etc http://www.painlesswiring.com/mobile/we ... reet%20Rod |

Yes thread revival time...... Best to try and keep this info all in one thread. Anyway...... I am currently looking to re-wire my car. I have a loom which i got with the car not installed. The previous owner said it is basically 90% completed to run everything i have. The loom is one of the "EZ-Wiring" looms and looks to be brand new. My question is what or how much should i expect to pay to have this installed by an experienced person?? I have no clue about electrics and could very easily be lead astray, so i want to try and get an indication of costs involved in using this loom against having someone start from scratch. |
