Post subject:  Wiring Pass Relay in a 1600

A few years ago I converted the steering column in my rally car to a 200b one and rewired the lights and indicators etc to suit the new stalk. At the time I didn't have a wiring diagram so didn't know there was provision for a pass relay in the 1600's front loom. Can anyone tell me if I can wire it up to a hella relay or do I need to find something OEM?

The colour sequence is as follows:
BY goes to Indicator stalk.
RL goes to fuse block.
B goes to earth.
RW goes to the Headlight switch and Headlights.

A conventional relay will be fine on at least two counts: -
It will be standard pin numbering and won't cost the earth like an OEM Nissan relay
Just to be sure to be sure, here is the equivalent in Bosch/Hella/Narva speak: -

Turns out I didn't need to wire in the pass relay as it is part of the Pulsar combo switches. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for converting 1600 lights circuit from switch earthing to light/relay earthing?

Thanks Richard
