Thought I'd start a thread for my 120Y wagon.
I bought it off ebay a few months ago as a project.
Apparently it had been sitting unregistered for 7 years or so, I'm assuming outside considering how dirty it was.
Haven't done much to it so far other than give it a good clean, service it and get it started (sort of)
It had no fuel filter, Oil that was nearly thinner than water, and a carby literally full of dirt, But I still managed to get it started somehow.
The only rust seems to be in the engine bay under the battery tray, So hopefully thats not too hard to fix.
The interior is in suprisingly good condition, Besides the carpet and a crack or two in the dash.
The first thing I need to do is get the carby rebuilt (it leaks fuel, and is still half full of dirt) and then see if it runs smooth or not.
I'm not sure what condition the motor is in internally, But I'm not expecting any miracles.
Hopefully it doesn't take too much to get this on the road, It's been way too long since I've had a datto
Pic of the first day I got it, All I had done was give it a wash and gotten rid of some of the moss growing in the gutters on the roof
Came with a few goodies in the glovebox
As it sits now. It actually cleaned up quite well considering how it looked when it first showed up.
Still needs another polish when I have the motivation/time, only did a quick job the first time.
Engine bay at the moment. You can't see the rust under the battery but you can see the little bit on the firewall above the master cylinder.
