Does anyone know of an engine builder In W.A. That can build a decent L series? Thought I'd ask before I send it east. Cheers. |

How much do you want to spend on the engine? What spec are you planning? |

Hey lampy, Well certainly not to the specs of yours.... I have a l18w block a87 head and a set Of 45 webbers. Hot street motor, occasional Track/ climb event, moneys not an issue, Will need machining/head work done (standard motor) or will even buy a built engine if one pops up. The 1600 Won't be a daily driver. How's yours coming along? Can't wait to see her humm |

Not too many good l series builders in WA That is why i send mine to the eastern states. Have you thought about giving it a go yourself. It not too hard. The head will have to be done by a professional to get good power I potentially might have a good head for sale. Flows enough for 233hp Its all set up and ready to bolt to a bottom end What inlet manifold do you have? datrally/powerplay? |

Tony Flood at floodmotorsport.com.au would be my recommendation, be worth a few $$ though. Ex Datsun pilot with a soft spot for these old motors. (sort of affiliated, been spannering on his personal competition cars since the late 90's) |
