Hey all I have a quick question I'm wondering Wat strut insert would be best suited for 180b. I use it for motorkhanas autocross etc.. I want an intermediate that would cover both gravel(autocross) and bitumen (gymkhana and motorkhana) also best place to buy these inserts would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance for your replies... :-)

There are many inserts that can be used in Datsun struts.
Ride height needs to be taken into consideration,as is spring rate, coil diameter, bumpstops.
We use many different inserts, spacers, top or bottom to achieve the desired results.
Your spec would be a shortened strut, yes ok for autocross, 250Lb spring, KyB AGX insert.

Koni do red and yellow inserts for the 180b. these are good but expensive.

monroe do an insert also, these are cheap but basic.

Many folk (including me) use kyb inserts in their 180b struts, but they don't do an insert for the 180b. I think it's a 240k insert that tends to get used. This is slightly shorter than a 180b insert so you need to put a spacer down the bottom or the strut insert will be loose in the strut.
