just need some answers before i go ahead convert to manual. currently have a 180 b , l18 , 3 speed auto. have a complete conversion from a 200b from gearbox throught to tail shaft.
my questions that are on my mind are , 4 speed from 200b will bolt up to the l18 , im pretty sure it will, my main things are can i use the original tailshaft and diff or will i have to swap them aswell.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to get a flywheel and clutch from an L18 because the L20b uses a 6 bolt flexplate/flywheel so they arent interchangable.
The gearbox will definately bolt up, you might have to modify the gearbox crossmember.
As for the diff, keep the diff that's in it, not sure if the tailshaft will be the correct length, if not you can get it modified.

It depends on what model 200b but it's likely that the tailshaft will be to suit a borg warner diff and have the wrong flange on it as a result. So... most likely you would want a manual 180b tailshaft, or get your tailshaft shortened 120mm odd to suit the longer manual gearbox.

Someone else may be able to confirm a bolt-in replacement for a 180b manaul shaft.

then again you may be able to just swap in the front half of the two-piece shaft from the 200b. check your lengths...

get under your car and measure length of your auto and then the manual...
like trav said you need a 5 bolt flywheel but the 200b clutch will work if using the matched throw out bearing from the 200b
