I have just got a 300c that's been sitting under a tree for the last few years. Beautiful car with only one fault. When its cold it doesn't want to start. It will fire but die straight away. When you finally get it to run it will only idle....touch the accelerator and it dies again. If you just let it idle till it warms up it runs like a dream. I've checked the EGR valve and it seems fine. I'm a bit suspect of the throttle position sensor but don't think its the problem as it runs well when warm. Not sure if its related but the tacho doesn't work either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Tim |
