Im looking to do an engine conversion to my 910 S1 in the next few months;
Having a bit of trouble tracking down an SR20DET within reasonable travelling distance.
Just wondering what other relatively easy options there are....VG30DETT etc...
Cheers

I was thinking going the CA route, they seem to be a bit easier to find.

Check out a heap of the build threads on ABB to get an idea of the possibilities.

Not being a knob, but honestly if it's too hard to drive to get an SR, then converting to something more exotic like a turbo V6 is probably too hard too?

Stick with what's easy, don't be a trendsetter - a CA or SR will give you plenty of go in a bluebird.

If you are worried about avalibility why not go the l20b turbo path? Give it some grunt and fairly easy seeing a they came with an l20b

We have a nice VG30DET with auto for sale.
Came out of an IMPUL cima.
These have single turbo & have a better intake set up.
The bottom ends are far tougher than the DETT.

Engine, trans, ECU, loom etc. 2k plus shipping. around $200, depending on location.
I purchased the complete Impul to get this for my own use.
I drove it & know its a solid unit.
