hi guys,

I'm going off memory here, so I might be wrong, but was there ever a black Nissan President (possibly V8 powered) at a meet some time over the past few years? Maybe one of those aus rotary/toyota combined cruises we used to go on?

Trying to locate the owner, let me know if you can help!

:cheers

Haha yep! Was planning to have my car but I'm not confident enough to use it since I've had absolutely no time to troubleshoot little issues and prove it's reliability since doing all the engine work. We've got a pair of old balck Rolls/Bentleighs (circa 1940s) but I was recently told we need one more car for the groomsmen so I figured I'll try and get a DATTO! Nissan Prez seems like it would be a nice fit, hope I can track him down and he's keen to do it.

There is a link to ebay in that article where it was for sale, you may be able to get in touch with the owner via the for sale advert

I actually found the owner today! When dan said R31 forums, I had a search around there but came up empty handed. A few weeks ago I sold some FJ20 parts to the owner of the Peter Jackson DR30 (ex touring car), so I thought I'd send her an email to ask for help since she's well embedded in the classic Skyline scene. She knew exactly who I was talking about and passed me on his details. Quite the tangled web.
