Post subject:  62 datsun 1200 dual cab ute
Hi all,

I have a couple of 62 twin cab datsun 1200 utes, I have so far established they are not among the most common of vehicles, but no one can tell me anything about them or what they might be worth.

So my question is two fold, can anyone tell me about them and what are they worth?

Any information would be greatly appreciated

The one pictured is a 64 U320.

They are a 5 seater crew cab ute.
There were apparently 1000 made worldwide and 17 made it to Aus. 2 of these were exported to the UK.
I know of about 10 still here.

I think they are awesome. I paid a lot of money for my 64.

So that would make them rather endangered considering one of them was saved from the crusher by 24hrs.

Also did you restore yours or did you buy it in that condition

Mine was restored by a Nissan dealership some 15+ years ago.
It needs doing again now though.

I am going to revive this thread, Graeme do you still have your U320?
These are the photos I have collected over the years of U320s, can anyone on here tell me which ones have been scrapped, if it has a name then I know it still exists today.

Can anyone shine some light on these trucks above, there is also one east of Brisbane that was on Gumtree a while back, another one under a tree that was on Gumtree also, don't have photos of either of them right now, both were in need of parts trucks, there was another one inland about half way between Canberra and Brisbane, but inland a ways, all the parts were not in the photos, it was also on Gumtree a few years ago.
