I finally got my hands on an S13 donor for my datto.
Pulling the SR20det 5 speed and ECU out but it got my thinking is there anything else I could salvage for the datto?

I did read here somewhere that the diff centres are good to swap into an r200 diff but Im not really that far along with the project.

I've thought about this too, and have pondered whether or not keeping the whole S13's loom would be an option and rewiring the complete 1600 with the S13 gear, sure parts of the loom would need to be shortened/lentghend etc, but it would mean that wiring in an SR20 would have zero issues, utilise all the dash wiring etc, use the steering column.

other things id take that i can think of would be
-boot/fuel release cable setup
-accelerator pedal
-centre handbrake assembly
-fuel tank setup, to cut out and put in the 1600 tank for efi

Pretty much everything is useful. Crossmember, steering rack, LCAs and knuckle setup. Most won't suit a 1600 because of size but definitely a lot will suit R31 and Bluebird people.

Go for broke and see what you have left. I've seen S15 dash vents fit 1600s almost perfectly....
