Is the Gazelle diff width possible to go into a 120Y? I will be using flared guards. I Realise mounts etc will need to be changed.
Cheers.

You should be able to get it under the guards. I seem to remember the Gazelle housing is about 50 mm wider than the 120Y housing, & the 120Y rear guards are pretty wide. You could use a 1200 late ute rearend, which will drop straight onto the springs. You could also use front wheel drive offset wheels to keep the wheels & tyres under the guards.

Out of interest I put a 720 diff in my 120Y. The mounts even line up, they are just on the wrong angle (in my case I just welded a wedge to the mount so that it sat on the angle I wanted).

The main drawback is it is 6-stud, but I just ran the 720 wheels - this solved the width issue also as they are an appropriate offset.
