Post subject:  Massive vibration at speed

Been daily driving my datto the last few months and suddenly tonight driving to and from work the car started vibrating over 50km/h
What started as a gentle vibration between 50 - 80 kms on the way home became a monstrous shuddering (so hard even my keys we jingling)

I suspect a uni joint has let go as it seems to be in the rear but before I pull the rear apart is there anything else I should look at?

For the extra info:
Vibration/shuddering is at speed (really bad at 50km/h violent at 80km/h)
Under load makes no difference putting the car in neutral vibration still happens.

Thank you all in advance

Rear wheel bearings? Springs/shocks? Bushings in rear? Diff low on oil/oil leak/cracked gear? Buckled wheel? Brake shoes stuck?

Guess I wont know till I pull it apart... about the only thing I could rule out there is the buckled Rim.
The rest makes sense, Uni would probably only be an issue under load from the drive train hence why I asked for the suggestions.
Might be time to do the r31 brake conversion or the start of a long rebuild... these things happen with datto's.

It will 99.9% be tyres or tailshaft.

Problem was staring at him all along!

Did you find the cause?

Maybe a very powerful dildo got caught in the undercarriage
with still nuff charge to make a seasoned Hoe bite her lip?

Is your car low? I had exactly the same symptoms when I lowered mine, ended up changing to CVs.

Could you have lost a balance weight or is too bad for that?

Haven't had much time to look at it. So far the half shafts look fine and I can't wiggle them.

Car is basically undrivable until I find the problem. Hopefully with the day off work tomorrow I'll be able to get under it and have a proper sus.
