okay so the Resto is going well. I should have it in paint in the next month or so...

1, I can't find a paint code on the car but I'm thinking its the Westchester green metallic?
http://www.311s.org/PDFs/PaintColourChart784KB.pdf datsun code 254

2 i need rubber door seals and pinch weld seals for it... anyone down there found a good substitute? I know about Scotts Old rubber but a P/N or two would be usefull... I know Alan restored his, but i haven't been able to get him by email.

3 Anyone there got any extra hubcaps? i need 2 more solid ones, but would love a clean rechromeable set.

Mine is a 63 and is negative ground. It doen't look like it's been modified.
I'm looking for the pichweld seals also. I would like to find the coloured cotton covered ones as per original, but no luck as yet. I may just have to fit the plain black ones.

Graeme, yours isn't metallic green is it? mine is a Cedric Deluxe or Custom(which ever the mid level model is)...

Allan says he thinks there are 3 greens, one of which is metallic.

The base model came with dog dish hubcaps and solid vinyl seats, mine has full hub covers and cloth inserts, and the top model has a fancy cloth interior and extra chrome and a fancier grill. then there's the Special 50 which is a different thing again.

Mine is definately not metalic. It is a very light pastel shade.
Pretty sure the 50 was limited to Japan. I have two others which are both Deluxe. (and need restoration)
My green one, although being the base model, has the pull out radio and full hub caps. I suspect it may have been optioned up by the dealer.
