Hi I'm having an issue with the starter motor solenoid. There is a third cable going to the +ve terminal on the solenoid and runs into the standard harness. When I connect the battery up it starts to smoke. I k ow there must be a short somewhere but I can't find where this cable leads as it doesn't come out the other end of the harness. Any help would be appreciated

Oh sorry it's a 1600. When I disconnect that white wire I have no power to ignition to start it either |
