Hi All,

I have a 1600 in near original condition and I am need to raise some cash to do some modifications.

The car came to me with four Enkei racing 6jj x 14 wheels. The chap who owned the car before me was given the wheels by the works rally team after the company he worked for were employed to manufacture parts for the works team’s 510’s. I believe these were never supplied to the general public, but just to Datsun for their works rally cars.

I don’t know if these wheels are aluminium or magnesium but they have the special rotating nuts and are in very good condition.

I feel like I might be selling my soul and that I am probably less likely to sell them if they are valuable but is anyone interested and does anyone know what they are worth?

Thanks.

this isnt to piss off jeff but you may wish to do some research on what you have there and what they may be worth.

here is a link from bmsc

Set of 4 'Works' Enkei wheels. 14" All in excellent condition. No rally use - Been in storage. $1800

http://www.bmsc.com.au/forums/buy-sell- ... -sale.html

and i believe they sold too.

these wheels are sort after in the classic rally scene as well.

good luck with the project

bc

Enkei did make an replica wheel for the boy racers who wanted the "works" look. The replicas didn't have the special nuts and were made from normal wheel alloy. Also had a "taller" centre hub casting for an Enkei cap. The replicas are worth about $100-$150 each when in good cond.

I always considered these wheels to be a Stanza period item but I guess they would have filtered bacck down to guys running earlier cars at the same time the Stanzas were current.

Cock block: one who prevents another from scoring sexually
But in this case it's about the wheels :)

'69er with the boy racer version Enkeis. Very nice. :hail:
Might keep my set now after seeing that.
That pic is like porn to the older rally guys. They'll start making Weber induction noises and flailing their arms around demonstating outrageous degrees of opposite lock.
