I have put the L20b into my 1600 and changed the sump to fit, but the steering cross rod will not bolt back into place. Do i have the wrong one? Help please!

What sump did you use ? You need a 1600 sump. |

Im pretty sure its a 1600 sump, it came with the car but was the motor was all apart. The motor we transferred was from a bluebird so we changed the oil pick up and sump, and obviously used 1600 engine mounts. |
