Diff size you choose depends on the power and planned use of car amongst other things.
The more power or harsher you use your car, the bigger diff youll need.
Most turbo cars make a fair bit of power so you in this case would be looking at the R180 or R200 sized diffs i guess as the R160 is the smallest size and i would only really recommend that to non turbo cars that dont drag race or rally etc.
Once you decide on the physical size of the diff required then you need to decide on a gear ratio.
The size and ratio you choose will narrow down what vehicle you need to find to get the lsd from.
You may already have the ideal size and ratio 'open' diff in your car already and might be able to just buy the lsd guts and install this into your current diff.
Theres lots of info on lsd's if you search this forum. Like these:

Most of the R180 and R200 lsd's need some custom parts to fit e.g:
-The R200 needs a moustache bar and either modified 260z uni half shafts
or complete custom cv axles.
-The Subie R180 will need custom halfshaft adaptors and the std uni half shafts
or complete custom cv axles.
There is a factory R180 clutch pack lsd found in jdm datsuns but these are very very rare and command a very high price so are generally out of the picture.
Most easily found R180 and R200 lsd's will also likely need a tailshaft flange change to bolt up your datsun tailshaft.
This means ontop of finding the lsd diff youll need to find the same sized open diff from a datsun aswell to use the flange from it.
Very confusing for beginners but this is an advanced modification that is not easy to explain as there are a variety of ways and parts to achieve a similar result depending on your skill and budget.
Best you research as much as possible with key words like:
Datsun, R180, R200, lsd, diff, 1600, cv, axle, long nose, short nose, ring gear, moustache bar, etc...
