Hi folks,

After a very successful weekend's racing i have come to the conclusion that i need to drop my diff ratio down to a 3.9. With the added torque of the 2.2 now and my rear end mod's improving drive i am finding that i am geared to short, found the rev limiter more than once in the heat of battle with a bloody Evo 10!!!

I remember seeing some time ago crown wheel and pinion sets for sale, or if someone has a set im happy to do a swap if the condition is comparable to mine (4.375 stamped on crown-wheel)

I think i have a 3.9 and 3.5 r200 open center
Would these be suitable.

I will also pick up those trailing arms on saturday

i only need a gear set but im happy to buy either one off you mate, give me a shout and let me know what you want for the arms and the diff. (3.5 would be sweet)

do you need and R180 for your race car? i have one that i am not going to use, i think its open but i cant remember...

I have got the diff sorted for the 1600.
I ended up buying a brand new 5.1:1 crownwheel and pinion from nissan and shotpeening and micropolishing it
If you had a 4.8:1 i might be interested for a spare

I will most definitely keep that in mind, the 3.5 may bee too much and the 3.9 not enough!!!

Insane RPM.....give me a call when you know what your plan is, I have a guy coming to pick up some con-rods from my place in the morning, then I am out for a bit, then back home doing the rear alignment on my race car for the arvo and prepping for Collie next week end.

sooo,

reviewed all of my in-car footage and data today (nursing a killer hangover,,,,,,,)

I have done some numbers and i have settled on a 4.1 diff, the 3.9 drops me nearly 800rpm which will be an issue on 3 turns on the track.

So my hunt continues but now only for a 4.1:1......Thanks Lampy and John for the offers

Any 4.1's out there lads?

Do you have any R200 Companion Flanges, the 4 bolt drive shafts bolt to and then go into the diff??

1 is slightly longer than the other
