Hi

I've seen in some old photos, what seems to be SSR MkII wheels, on European Works Datsun PA10/160J/Stanza/Violet cars.

They seem to be used on tarmac stages.

Does anyone know, what size wheels and tyres were used on tarmac stages?

Regards

I have a catalogue with all sizes and compounds.

Most ran either 7" or 8" width in 13" or 14" diam, as there was good supplies of rubber for these.

Thanks dat2kman, would you please tell me more about this catalogue?

Is it a Datsun motorsport catalogue?

No, a Dunlop race and rally tyre catalogue, has details on the grooved tarmac slicks, A2's.

I also have the Nissan Motorspirt cats, but the rims in the above pic were not official supply by Nissan.
Nissan used either an Enkie in 14x6 or a 8 spoked rim ( on the 240RS)
