Hey man, I saw your question about fender mirrors, thought I'd post here rather than spam up someones thread. If you go to http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ and copy and paste this into the search bar フェンダーミラー it'll show you all the fender mirrors for sale, then you can use an outfit like Jesse Streeter or websites like fromjapan.co.jp or buyee.co.jp to bid on it and send it to you if you win it. Cedric 330 fender mirrors pop up for sale regularly, some are overpriced but if you wait something will turn up. I've got some off a C230 on mine at the moment but I picked up some chrome Cedric ones recently for about $40 including shipping. |

OK, got the old girl stripped down so now she’s off to a panel beater who is going to replace the sills with new rolled sections, repair the boot floor, doors ,guards and around the windscreens. He thinks it will take a couple of months and I’m welcome to drop by to take some pics. Hopefully I’ll be able to update this thread along the way. |

What a beast, looks similar to the Toyota Crown Coupe's of the same era. As for wheels. Datsun's don't like the super low offsets that Toyota's will accept under the factory guards (as a general rule.) I've got some 15x7 +20's on my 180b and they're a perfect fit, yet get 15x8 +0's on my Celica TA22. You do have a few options though as there are a number of quality wheel manufactures in Australia. CSA / ROH / Whitehorse industries are the 3 big ones that spring to mind. Now CSA use to make the Cheviot wheels (think globes / hotwires / jellybean) wheels you seen on heaps of old school cars (including my Datsun.) they may still be able to cast new ones for you. Now ROH make a 3 piece wheel called the FLOW FORMED SERIES - VENTURO, which is available in any size/offset/PCD combination you can think of. that's definitely an option. Whitehorse industries bought all of the Simmions kit when they went belly up so they can make anything you want as well (but more pricy.) Cooler option: Now what a really Kool Kat would do it get hold of ROH or CSA and inquire about producing a set of pressed steel wheels in the width you want, and then run the stock hub caps (which it looks like you've got,) with a set of either stretched 13" street rubber (can't seem to find much wider than 185, or a set of Avon ACB10 Semislicks. which are available in up to a 245/45R13 and are of course street legal. I take it this car wont be a daily more of a weekend cruiser. Keep the stock hubbies they're part of the history of this ride and you've got them. We're fortunate in Oz that we can get all sorts of wheels made at good prices, lots of people just don't know where to look. Regards Jordan |

Thanks Jordan for the info Yes the 260 will just be the occasional weekend cruiser. Got a HSV for daily duties Will look at getting a nice set of hubcaps at some stage as the car came with some old plastic hubcaps. I think the 260 can take some pretty aggresive wheels as it definitely looks under tyred at the moment. Am considering a set of 15x9"-1 wheels so would be great if someone could confirm if they'd fit. I know 15x8"+0 will but 9"? Here's a pic of them On another subject got quoted $1200 to rechrome the bumpers....might just have a go at polishing for now as they seem pretty good for their age |

Also don't forget that 5x114.3 is the same as Aussie Ford Falcons / Chrysler Valent. Your 5 stud is actually a blessing in disguise. Wide Jap 4 studs are way over priced. Chick the Ford / Chrysler forums, they have some wild stuff. All old skool. Those 15x9's look wild, but probably have a price tag to match. If you have a good tyre store near you they should be able to help with fitment, if not there are a few tricks to work out what will fit, but you have to crack your rulers out. Jordan |

Something like the meshies in that photo would look very good. As far as what wheels fit, it's all about tyres. I've got 15x8.5"s (maybe +7mm or so offset) on my 230 wagon with 195/65's and they clear the rolled guards. 330's have more room to play with, but if you put a 295 tyre on it then you may be in strife. Try and borrow some other wheels and start measuring up. |

OK just a small update Car is still at the panel shop so hope to have some pics next week. In the meantime I've taken everyone's advice and bought some 15" wheels on Yahoo Japan via Import monster They are 15x8 +7 and are new NOS so in good nic for old wheels

Going to go right through the braking system. Rather than rebuild the stock system is there a more modern upgrade that will fit easily? |
