Well after looking for a long time i finally found a non rusty 1600 , i'm over the moon.

Datsun 1600 68 model all original paint and body
L18 motor with 5speedour of a 180B sss

My plans are to put the running gear out of my last orange 1600 but not just yet. The datsun still does have rego so im just going to enjoy it for now.

Progress photos will be going up in the build.

I went to go look at a 1600 shell that i was just going to buy to put my running gear into and i saw this out of the corner of my eye, i had to have it. The guy was going to keep it for his daughter but i offered him some money and from then on in i was all smiles from me.

Yeah not to much more left , but well worth the money

Yeah thanks the interior is in ok condition just the front seats will need to be re-done. The plan is for a complete white re-spray and a red re-trim at the end of the year.

Nice call keeping it white with the dark red interior, it's the nicest combination. It would look sweet with the rims painted red, standard hub caps and whitewalls. Great Find
