You will need a steering arm puller to remove the steering arm from the output shaft.
There are 3 bolts holding the 'box onto the chassis rail, they need to be removed.
Lastly the uni joint at the base of the steering column needs to be loosened and gently tapped off the splined shaft.
Be careful, the 'box is HEAVY

I think you can separate the column from the box, but I don't know for sure :?

In the past I have done this - separate the column from the box but, be warned, you will get a massive oil slick of the steering box fluid as the column plate is lower that the normal oil level. I should have used a small vacuum pump to remove the oil from the box first. However, the steering shaft still stays connected in the box and it is a bit of a fiddle to remove the box and shaft from the car.

A better method is probably to remove the box and column together, but that will require a lot more disassembly of the vehicle to allow the steering box and bare (no wheel, shroud, indicator switch, etc) column to be withdrawn from the car through the engine bay.
