I havent really been to a car show for a while but I've decided that I'm really looking forward to this. Do we want to have an Ozdat-specific pre-meet or just go to our local ones? If we want to have an Ozdat pre-meet, we could go for a very short cruise from there to Como Park.

Input people! Last time I saw more than two Datsuns in the one place I was at a wreckers...

Looking forward to this. All other meets I used to go to when I had my S14 we're full of guys just wanting to race, drift, and do burn outs on the street. We'll past past that crap.
These meets are actual enthusiast crowd who I can def relate to.
Looking forward to meeting some fellow Ozdatters! I'll just walk up and introduce myself to you boys.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, when you say, 7:45 departure, you mean 7:45 sharp if not earlier.

This will be a busy event and if we want to get a good group spot we'll need to be there on time.

Regards
Jordan

Good to see you guys have picked up on this event again this year!

The more Datsuns/Nissans we get the better.

If you want any more details it would be worth following us on facebook and for what its worth, here is the blurb I am blasting about all the forums

[ img ]

TCCAV is pleased to announce that Classic Japan will once again be held in 2014, this year on Sunday December 7th.

This year we will again return to the great grounds at Como Park in South Yarra.

As well as having no numbers restrictions for entries, this venue will allow us to host the event with the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Club in making Classic Japan 2014 again a show for cars and bikes made in Japan pre 1989.

The event is a huge celebration of Japanese car and bike culture. No trophies, no egos, just a bunch of enthusiasts coming out for a picnic on the grass with their classic J-tin bike or car.

Vehicle entry will be via Alexandra Ave, South Yarra and once again we will be taking folding note donations at the gate to raise funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation. Gates open at 8am and close at 9am for entries. Spectator parking will be in the streets around the venue.
