So recently I had to do a head gasket replacement on the L18 in my girlfriend's 180B. In the process of the uninstall and reinstallation of everything I've gone and broken one of the brittle old hoses :( The unfortunate thing is that this particular hose is an air (I think) hose running from the bottom of the intake manifold (control valve I think) to the connector pipe that comes out of the block and so far I have not been able to find a replacement at any auto parts retailer (Covs, Veale, Auto One, Repco). The hose is 16mm internal diameter at the intake end and flared at the block end to 22mm (approx).

Got hold of Nissan spare parts and I would have to wait 4-5 weeks for a replacement from Japan at a cost of $55. The part number is 11828-23002. I've searched google and had no luck at all. Can anyone help me?

usually this is a PCV valve to the crank case.
As we say here in North America. Nigger rig it.

55 is too much find a water hose and copper pipe

In terms of rigging something up what I've done is get two separate hoses and one fits perfectly inside the other. Joined them with a super glue and hose clamp. I'm concerned that this will give way under pressure though?

If you have that much crankcase pressure there will be far bigger problems to worry about!
Any hose, as long as it is sealed to the atmosphere, will do the job
