I want to use a 4 speed long box(from a 200b) bellhousing for a bellhousing swap.

Are they the same bellhousing as a L series 5 speed long box bellhousing???

Only the 240k 4 speed shares the bell housing with the 71b series 5 speeds, my 200b's gearbox looks more like a 180b style box. What are you trying too do? Most 5 speeds that get used in the dattos are from 'L' engines and will bolt straight on at the engine end of any other L engine. Depending on where you are I have a bell housing you can have off a 71b gearbox, I'm located at wagga.

There are two different thickness to watch out for as well. This is where the bell housing bolts go through, I have only seen this in relational to the 4 speeds
Means the input shaft sticks out past the end of the box further and in some cases this means you can't even bolt the gearbox up,
We learned this one day when trying to fit a 4 speed to a old R30 skyline that was being used as a dirt track car. (only needed 1 and 2nd anyway).
