P.S does any one know any tyre places that will swap tyres over to another set of rims really really really cheap, I would love to get my alloys onto the SSS finally, I would also like a good second hand pair of 185x13 tyres for the front??

Can any one help?
Hey Rick
I get mine from Swan Tyres in Ozzy park Around Fifty dollars each, less for a set. But steer clear of the Bridgestone V' Grid (Yes that right no typo's here) they're a jap import not legal in Aust. Fantastic grip but delaminate easily when they get hot.

P.s. Hope to see you ALL on the 3 August. tell ALL your FRIENDS

I would hope 13' tyres are less than $50.00 a piece at swans, I got a set of 195/65/14 Pirellis' 95% tread of them a year ago and they cost me $50.00 a corner.
I don't have $100.00 to spend right now, me not working and all.

Wasn't there a bloke on the last cruise who reconed he could ge cheap tyres??

just to swap tyres over? not new or replacement tyres? most tyre joints swap and balance for $10 a wheel.

as for the quokka.... who bought the $80 datto 1600 from this weeks quokka. i'll give you $100. i want to start a project.

I woulda thought about $10.00 to take a tyre of one wheel, and to pull the new tyre valves I already have through the new rims, and to refit the tyres to them.

Unfortunatly, I have been to tyre shops in the past couple of weeks that are dead, not a car in sight, the blokes that work there a clean, have not fitted a tyre for a couple of days.

They recon they will not do it for less than $20.00 a rim.
I need two done, $40.00 and the other two I need to replace with wider, better tread as they are only 165's and need some extra tread so more cash for the tyres aswell, they are not interested, so they stayed clean the rest of the day aswell.

I'll keep looking anyhows.

Same place sounds fine, I wouldn't mind 10.00 AM start though, let me get from Morley at that time better, Get a extra half a hour to sleap in, and time to wake up before I get in the car, ect ect.

I am getting old you know :P

Have finally developed film that has the couple of photos I took at the carpark at Cannington at the last cruise (5 dattos).
Not great shots but one of the five and then a few others mainly under bonnet shots.
Anyone who wants a copy let me know and I'll email it to them. They're on disk from Kodak as jpegs around 400kb each.
