How much clearance is needed on the front for tyre to spring pearch clearance? This Is with coil overs
10mm?

Running a 185 55 15 and just wondering due to tyre deflection under cornering etc.

10mm should be plenty. When i had the 14 inch stock bluebird wheels I had maybe 3mm on one side and it didn't hit (also with coil overs). The 15's I run now have a bit more clearance as I got +12 to space them out a bit.

These are z 31 wheels and 30 offset. Last ones were 20 offset.

Being at the top of the tyre, I wouldn't expect any deformation from cornering.
If it clears by 1mm, it clears by 1mm!
Any polished areas will tell the tale

It's right smack bang in the middle. Between the sidewall bead and start of the tread casing

That's about what I had with the old wheels, if it doesn't hit when on the ground it will never hit I don't think... All the tyre change under load is where the tyre meets the road.

Investigating shorter spring options now. will lift the pearch up one to 2 inches at least

That kink in the brake hose doesn't look good.
