I am not too sure if anyone here has seen or dealt with these guys but it is pretty new and exciting to me. I have been looking to get info on per-assembled coil over kits for the 1600 (research at this stage) and these guys came up. After a look through their really decent website, there is a MASSIVE selection of GREAT looking gear on there.

What exactly do you want to buy??
Front coil overs?
Rear coilivers?
Camber plates?

I'll give you a few things to research, these are just things I would be thinking about,
I don't have coil overs or have had any experience with them yet.

There front coil overs use 280zx struts, there not common here, what wheel offsets will these suit?, the threaded sleeves on the coil overs look alloy, I'm sure steel would be better with double lock nuts(research steel v alloy)

The Rear coil overs are just a shock with a shaft collar holding the threaded sleeve on the shock, definitely looks dodgy, there are better looking rear coil overs, or check this thread out.

He gives you the part numbers to build some coil overs from summit racing parts.

Camber plates, I'd really research this or ask in the Ozdat forum for advice from people running camber plates, but I really fail to see how these could operate smoothly and avoid heavy steering without a proper bearing for turning. I know they offer a needle bearing top hat but it's still not like a standard type bearing.
Really do your research with these, and i highly recommend checking out datsports camber plates, they have a standard type bearing to take steering load.

There big brakes look wank factor cool but.
Only if your running 17" wheels or bigger.

I run their camber plates and front coilover kit (weld on version fitted to my existing struts), never had a problem with either. Heaps of Aussies use their parts, not just datto people, and they're good to deal with.

FYI the 280zx struts allow you to run the lowest offset of any of the Nissan/datsun struts.

Yep, very smooth. The only thing I don't like about the T3 top hats is that they use nuts and bolts instead of studs, so they are a bit of a pain to install on your own. You could always change it to studs yourself, but I think this is something that should be standard.

Hay Nad015,

Down the road I will be looking to improve the suspension and handling of the 510 as a priority but, at this stage, I've not narrowed down how I am going to get that done. Toooooo far away from where I am at :'( Sadly

There are a couple of mobs around that make GREAT suspension and, the datsport gear I have seen, steering box brace and other bits and pieces are on my list of gear that I'll get eventually.

It is awesome to get some good feedback about their gear and their service as well. Great Succes!!!

They seem ok. I had a clunk and called and sent a updated bushing for my Koni D shocks. The Nyloc was never fully threaded and would back out.(1st photo)
Told Gabrel about this and he sent new updated bushing that fully threaded into the svievel joint. Free of charge.

2nd photo is the Do It yourself kit on shorted 510 struts to the 280zx length for my +25mm 15x7 Rotas. Spring perch at stock location so dont hit the +offet rim and tire but a 7in spring installed instead of standard 8 in then dialed all the way down.

3rd photo the adjustable LCA. Believe they have new ones now.

they also have the 200sx trans X member

Nice one! What brakes do you use if not their enormous Willwood gear? That is probably the biggest question i have at the moment.

I am not 100% which of the front coils is likely to better suit my needs. Keep hearing the 280zx ones are better... not 100% sure on why though.

Seems that if there is an issue, they are happy to help to resolve it. I know that means lost time with them not being "local" but, i've had far worse service in the past.

Availability / price / lack of other alternatives in the US of A ?? Some Oz-sold cars were not sold over there, so what is "better" in USA may not be "better" in Oz.

eg for 1600's, Maxima rear disc conversion in USA, R31 here.

Front struts -- Seems to not be uncommon conversion to turn to the 280zx in Aus as well though??

If using the T3 fronts, what brakes would be suitable if not the monstrous Willwood kit they sell?? That's more what I am asking.
