I have 2 diffs in my shed that I believe to be 620 ute diffs.
But
They are different widths.
The shorter one is about 1350 drum to drum.
The other one is about 1370 drum to drum.
Can anyone share some knowlage on this?????
Is there two widths????
Thanks

720 is slightly wider than 620, ran more positive offset on the rims, spring plates are the same width apart. Unfortunately I don't have either here at the moment to measure.

Generally 620 had alloy diff housing and 4.6 ratio, 720 2WD had steel housing, from memory 4.11 ratio. However the centres are interchangeable.

Nar 720s are 1400mm drum-drum.
Was gunna go for a 720 diff but it's a bit of a stretch to get it under a Dato 1200.
My two diffs are 1350 and 1370 so I'm buggered if I know......
Was there a early and late 620????
Or
Is one a 520 and the other a 620????
I'm trying to gather as much info so I can go one way or the other and start chasing spare axles and housings.
Thanks for your input 620racer.
Your correct. 4.6:1 alloy

My measurements of a 720 were more like 1380mm for the early series. By the time they got to the late stuff which was a much, much heavier diff they were out to 1410mm or so.
