Thanks Black 510
One of the last big expenses for me is the ÈCU about 2 k for Haltech or about 3 k for motec.
both will easily do what I need just comes down to price vs reliability software etc.
Peter mac would prefer Motec I will see, still have a few things to buy such as Bumpers,(Carbon or Crome), front windscreen, all of the brake hard lines, and a optima car battery.
So reasonably close in the financial stakes only about another 4K

Definitely awesome stuff going on here. Dash does look great. Will be eager to see this one come together.

How much were the Troy Ermish CV's when you were over there?

Carbon and Kevlar sheets come from Protech composites
http://www.protechcomposites.com

Same price for the driveshaft as his website pricing.
He is a great bloke loves his datsuns shop/Home workshop started from him winning races in his 510 then a number of other people wanted him to work on their cars, here are some pics from inside his shop.

Spent some time cleaning and polishing the wiper motor, Its a crap job still have to rebuild the self park switch as the acid bath used for the plating ate the contacts away, I have a spare I will use for the parts I need.

Bought a polished gear reduction start for this motor, I believe they are from a Nissan forklift they bolt straight on.

Radiator is made by Toyorad, hopefully it will do the job. I use a Toyorad one in my Z been fine to date (about 5 years).

Had the tyres fitted today, Yokohama AD08 R compound.195/50/15
I would of liked slightly wider tread but this was an easy solution, no flares, no clearance issues, less bump steer etc...

Found some more photos of the car as purchased, thought I would share..

Pic also of the std Fuel tank with a EFI pump fitted, I has already purchased a Bosch external pump but changed my mind due to the noise factor that goes with external pumps.
Hopefully its reliable the main con with an in tank system. I purchased a BA falcon pump assembly from EFI hardware install was easy enough 90mm hole saw and weld in a fixing ring, had to shorten the float arm about 70mm for it to clear the side of the tank.
As the Speedhut gauges are programmable I ditched the fuel level original sender.

Thanks to the long weekend managed to install fuel and brake lines.
And do the remaining speaker wiring and fit the front speakers to the door cards.
The stereo system was purchased 18 months ago (how time fly's) it was good to know it all works, as its probably out of warranty.

LOL, great show for one liners
They are the fuel lines, 8mm solid tube under the car and then braided Teflon to the injectors one for feed and one for return, I will cut them to length once the engine is in.
Brought them up the Drivers side so they don't get heated by the extractors.

ps:That's a real nasty habit you got there.LOL
