High comp engine, and the 3 layer pearl paint job on the sump is probably not the best conductor of heat.

Made a bit of progress on the engine wiring over the last few days. Its using Tefzel wire and Raychem heat shrink so its not a cheap option but when using Deutsch Autosport connectors there really is no other option.
Mounted the LS2 Coils, Engine loom finished and tested. Still got to get a air filter box to mount the Air temp sensor.
MAP/Barometric sensor still needs mounting.
Once the air filter box is fitted I will then clamp the loom in place, tied to the fuel rail probably.

Here are some pics of the Auto sport connector for the firewall..

File comment: Main engine harness connector 32 pin.
The small 6 pin is for the O2 sensor.

File comment: Kapton Tape prevents the final boot gluing itself to the wires. A must if you ever want to repair or change a connection.

Looks ace mate!
Got any details on the ceramic flow coat you are talking about? Sounds pretty good.

At this stage, it is going to be PPG CERAMICLEAR, extremely hard clear which is difficult to scratch.

Been busy, at the building not so much at the posting.
Anyway body wise the Carbon Bars are now fitted.
The engine has a rough tune, final tunning will be done by Les Collins in a few weeks.
Air Filter now fitted, seats now fitted.
Lots of small jobs left to get it finished.

PS I'm missing one of the screws that hold down the license plate light, if anyone has a spare it would be much appreciated.

Also have sort out bonnet bump stops, not sure what I'm going to use at the moment as there isn't a genuine option for the 68 as far as I know.

Thanks, the bars came from Futofab in the US.
They are paper thin vacume bagged, only weighed a few hundred grams each . the box was considerably heavier than the 2 bars.
Had to do a fair bit of work to them prior to putting the clear coats on.
Will post some updated pics when I get a chance to take some better Photos.

The Screws are countersunk dome tops, Adrian.
Give Dimitri a call @ Dafra - he should be able to sort you out.
