Currently have a Datsun 1600 with a s14 sr20det with the s14 claster, Would like to reinstall the original gauges etc Does any one know what is required and won't upset the ecu. I've read you need a Pintara speedo drive Any help would be much appreciated |

From memory, yes, Pintara, its the CA20 Manual speedo gear drive. I think the one with the red gear on it. But they come in different colours which correspond to your diff ratio. Personally, I would be definitely upgrading the speedo. It'll make life so much easier. |

you need an RB20 speedo drive. I just did this conversion once you get it you just have to cut a slot on the other side for mounting and sits right in. I have all original gauges working except temp as im using aftermarket gauge coming from the ecu. I also am using the original 1600 tacho. |
