Hi, Currently installing a mechanical oil pressure gauge on an L20b. When removing the oil pressure sensor and installing the brass T piece do I need a copper washer? |

Just some thread sealant will be fine as the T piece generally don't go all the way into the block. Be sure to use a steel one as well as the brass kind can crack over time and break off in the block. Ask me how I know..... |

Thank you for the advice trb, much appreciated. Didn’t realise the brass wouldn’t last. |

Never experienced a failure with brass fittings. It may be a result of a faulty casting? |

Probably due to vibration causing fatigue in the "T". In a race car that would be a killer |

Yep 100% mate the vibration along with the weight that was on it wouldn't have helped |
