Hi all,
i am thinking about buying a daily driver whilst my long winded sr 1600 project stumbles on and thought about the possibility of dropping an sr-t into something else  . wagon preferred - is there a really easy car to do this to? i heard a bluey with CA20 front crossmember will bolt straight in to an earlier bluebird and the motor bolts onto that. what are the other mods? will i need to upgrade the brakes and diff? r31 skyline?

cheers
Leigh

A wothwhile conversion is to an R31 Pintara, you can get some very nice examples cheap. Especialy if the motor is tired. The generic mounts of the pintara will take the SR perfectly. Trans mount, shifter hole all line up. Apart from the fact the fuel system is all there for EFI. Its just a bolt in replacement exept for the wiring. Also S12 Gazelle is much the same. But you can get pintaras cheap and you have the brakes etc.
