Hi guys,

I'm about to have my front screen re-fitted and was looking at using a better and stronger system than the standard rubber seal.

Has anyone had a front screen glued in?

If so what did you use for a surround/trim?

What do you mean stronger?, and why?
The standard rubber seal fits great and accomodates the original metal trim.
If anything, maybe a little butyl mastic to seal against water... but glue? :?

plus standard rubber seal FLEXES and absorbs more shock than glue..
u may find that glueing it ur windscreen could crack easier.. (big potholes etc)

so iv been told.
