The Cedric is a 6 stud pattern. Real bizzare, so yeah they are exactly the rims that are going on it.

As for DAT that comment could have gone either way. Maybe i was in a shitty mood at the time. I've been using forums for years and i know that if your going to make a comment about somebody youv'e got to be very clear about the point your trying to put across.....

anyway, work probably wont start on the Cedric till early next year. just wanna get it running at the moment so i can get it to places without needing a tow. i think an engine conversion will diminish the historical value of the car so i might just get it rebuilt etc.. this might change when i actually get to drive it but we'll see.

you should do the exact reverse to me :!:

i'm building a stout engine/driveline combo with the factory look outside.

you should build a totally stock vehicle mechanically, but with wild paint and rims...!

then we could get a double photoshoot together! awesome...!

Think he is located out west of sydney, if he can do those conversion, then 2 suicides would be a walk in the park I would think.

thanks for the nice comments graham. I got it started today. Hooked up a facet electronic fuel pump and now runs no worries. its blowing alot of white smoke from the oil filler cap. I'm guessing the rings are rooted. But i'm gonna change the oil and put in some Lucas oil additive and see if it helps.

Changed my mind on the colour(surprise surprise) i'm goin for a Candy Green with white roof.

Try filing flats on two opposite sides of the plug, then use an open-ended spanner.

Try a pair of locking pliers or a stilson pipe wrench, with a bit of heat if you can. And while trying to undo it, keep repeating the mantra "Whatever man can do up, man can undo..." :D

Good Luck,
